Angel's Blog EDCI 338

Hi, this is Angel Liu. Welcome to my site.

About Me

Hi, this is Angel (Aizhou) Liu, currently enrolled in the 2nd year of Health Information Science Program in the University of Victoria.

I’m from Xuzhou, Jiangsu province. It is located in the northern part of Jiangsu and middle part of China. I have been in Victoria for six years as I started my study journey in grade 9. I’m interested in handcrafting, cooking, learning the knowledge of medicine and programming. My favorite Youtuber is a Taiwan wooden handcrafter, he uses simple materials such as wooden sticks, art knife, white glue, chopsticks etc to make anything he wants. His most impressive works for me are wooden violinguitar and some other instruments; also, his latest work of making western chesses also amazed me. His videos are not for teaching people how to do these works; instead, he records the rough process of doing these works in order to show people who are also interested in or desire to make these works too. According to his videos, I also made my own violin. Currently, I am doing western chesses and hope some days I could finish all the checkers. (Sorry for the inconveniences that the language of the video is Chinese)

This is my second time of taking EDCI courses. I took the first EDCI course in last summer— EDCI 337. Both these two courses involve communications with classmates. I’m really appreciate to talk with others and share thoughts : )

2020 was a hard year for people all over the world because the Covid-virus. Therefore, I went back to China and took online courses for this year. As the new semester begin, the new year comes again. Hope everyone could have a safe and happy new year!
